The City of Crossville Police Department is proud to announce the start of training for the city’s first ever V.I.P. (VOLUNTEERS IN POLICING) program. There are still a few slots remaining for this exciting new program that will allow citizens to become even more involved in partnering with the Crossville Police Department, to give back to their community!
The specially designed training program is intended to start on August 1, 2016 and will be held Monday through Friday, from 1pm – 5pm, CST. And will run for 2 weeks.
The 40 hour training will introduce patrol techniques, report writing, radio procedures, finger printing, driving new V.I.P. patrol vehicles and many other aspects of police operations. The training will be free of charge. Come earn your “stripes” with us as member of our First Ever V.I.P. program.
