URBAN FORESTER

PART TIME POSITION OPEN

The City of Crossville is now accepting applications through the Department of Labor Tennessee Career Center located at 60 Ridley Street, Crossville, Tennessee for the position of a part time Urban Forester. This position is to coordinate and supervise environmental programs involving arbor management throughout the City of Crossville. Three (3) years of verifiable experience in urban forestry, or in a position with duties similar to those described in the job description, is required. A complete job description is available upon application request. This is a part time position only with employee to work a maximum of 28 hours per week. Applicant will need proof of identity, eligibility for employment, a valid TN driver’s license and able to pass a drug screen and physical. Annual salary is $29,726.00. Applications will be accepted until the close of business on June 2, 2016. The USDA Forest Service and Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Division of Forestry has awarded the City of Crossville a grant that allows this position as a service to the citizens of Crossville.

VOLUNTEER IN POLICE (VIP)

CITY OF CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

 The City of Crossville is now accepting applications for those interested in being Volunteers in Police (VIP).  Application and volunteer description is available below and will be accepted through the City of Crossville Human Resources Office located in City Hall. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Deadline for application is the close of business on June 24, 2016. Appropriate candidates will be contacted for interviews. This is a VOLUNTEER position with the Crossville Police Department. Work will be performed on a volunteer basis to assist the Crossville Police Department staff and have the opportunity to better the quality of local law enforcement service through work, attitude and ideas for improving programs.
