The City of Crossville Beautification Committee is looking for ways to improve the appearance of our fine city. In years past, we have asked for suggestions in a “fight the blight” campaign, but now we’re looking for nominations to recognize folks in the City limits who have improved their properties in the last few years, despite the tough times.

We would love to have before and after pictures, or even just a current picture, including written information that tells us what improvements have been made. At a minimum, a specific address must be listed, and if possible, the name of the property owner.

This is a chance to toot your own horn; self-nominations are welcome! If you have spruced up the exterior of your home, done some great landscaping, cleaned up an overgrown yard, cut down and cleared away some dead trees, planted flowers, cleared away some old “stuff” that you realize you don’t really need, we want to hear about you. Likewise, nominations from the public regarding any property are welcome.

The committee wants to thank its citizens for making our community as attractive as it can be.   Look for the ad running in the Crossville Chronicle; and, either fill out the coupon and mail to City Hall, 392 North Main Street, Crossville, TN, 38555, or email Billy Loggins, ( This email address is being protected from spambots.
