Graham, III, Mayor Pro-Tem Boyd Wyatt, Sr. Absent/Excused: Councilman Carl Duer, M.D. Others present were Interim City Manager Mike Turner, City Clerk Sally Oglesby, John Lambert, Bobby L. Lambert, Cindy Barnett, Richard Barnett, Andrea L. Cravens, Jim Young, Christy Lewis, Major Darrell Sherrill, and ABC Special Agent Nathan Bradley.

The
Alcoholic Beverage Commission served search warrants on these businesses on
Major Darrell
Sherrill and Special Agent Nathan Bradley of the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage
Commission presented the cases and the statutes which were violated. City Attorney Kenneth Chadwell stated that
the Beer Board’s actions are limited to suspension of up to six months or
revocation. The State’s case for B J’s
Lounge has been continued until
A motion was made by Councilman Wyatt, seconded by Councilman Kerley, that any actions be deferred on B J’s Lounge until the court rules on the case. Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary: Yes = 4). Yes: Councilman Earl Dean, Councilman Jesse Kerley, Mayor J. H. The
State’s case for Porky’s Bar-B-Que has been continued until
A motion was made by Councilman Kerley, seconded by Councilman Dean, that any actions be deferred on Porky’s Bar-B-Que until the court rules on the case. Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary: Yes = 4). Yes: Councilman Earl Dean, Councilman Jesse Kerley, Mayor J. H.
